CODE OF CONDUCT

This Supplier Code of Business Conduct applies to FTG International suppliers and their subsidiaries, affiliates, and subcontractors (each a “Supplier”) providing goods or services to FTG International or for use in or with FTG International. It sets out legal and social responsibility requirements for our Suppliers. These requirements are in addition to any requirements imposed by contract. References to FTG International in this Code also include FTG International subsidiaries and affiliates, to the extent a Supplier does business with them.

General

FTG International and its suppliers will fully conform with the laws, rules, and regulations (collectively, “laws”) of the countries where it operates, will conform to the requirements of this Supplier Code of Business Conduct, and will communicate these requirements in writing to its own suppliers and subcontractors. FTG International and its suppliers are able to demonstrate compliance with the Supplier Code of Business Conduct on request.

Social Responsibility Standards Overview

Our Social Responsibility Standards are drawn from industry codes of conduct, International Labor Organization Conventions. They require all Suppliers to ensure that working conditions in their operations and supply chains are safe, that all workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that operations are environmentally responsible and conducted ethically.

Labor and Human Rights Overview

FTG International upholds the human rights of workers and treat them with dignity and respect. This applies to all workers, including without limitation temporary, migrant, student, and contract workers as well as direct employees.

Child Labor Overview

FTG International and its suppliers do not use child labor. We consider child labor to be anyone under 15, unless local law sets a higher threshold. FTG International agrees that workers under 18 will not work overtime or perform night work or physically demanding labor.

Working Hours Overview

FTG International and its suppliers comply with applicable work hours and overtime laws, will set the maximum at 60 hours/week except in emergencies, and will guarantee at least one full day off per 7-day period.

Wage & Benefits Overview

FTG International and its suppliers comply with all applicable wages and benefits laws.

Zero Tolerance for Abuse

FTG International and its suppliers comply with all applicable laws on abuse of employees. FTG International and its suppliers will not engage in any harsh or inhumane treatment, including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, or verbal abuse.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination

In its hiring and employment practices, FTG International and its suppliers will not discriminate based on race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, union membership, marital status, or any other category protected under applicable law.

Freedom of Association Overview

FTG International and its suppliers comply with all applicable laws on freedom of association and collective bargaining. Workers’ right to associate freely, seek representation, and join worker councils will be respected.

Health & Safety Overview

FTG International and its suppliers recognize that a safe and healthy work environment minimizes work-related injury and illness, enhances the quality of products and services, and boosts consistency of production and worker retention and morale. FTG International and its suppliers will comply with all applicable health-and-safety requirements and ensure that the following requirements are met:

Occupational Safety. FTG International and its suppliers will control worker exposure to potential safety hazards through proper design, engineering and administrative controls, preventative maintenance and safe work procedures, and ongoing safety training.

Emergency Preparedness. FTG International and its suppliers will have emergency plans and procedures including: emergency reporting, employee notification and evacuation procedures, worker training and drills, appropriate fire detection and suppression equipment, adequate exit facilities, and recovery plans.

Occupational Injury and Illness. FTG International and its suppliers will have procedures and systems to prevent, manage, track, and report occupational injury and illness.

Industrial Hygiene. FTG International and its suppliers identify, evaluate, and control worker exposure to chemical, biological, and physical agents.

Physically Demanding Work. FTG International and its suppliers identify, evaluate, and control worker exposure to the hazards of physically demanding tasks, including manual material handling and heavy or repetitive lifting, prolonged standing, and highly repetitive or demanding assembly tasks.

Machine Safeguards. FTG International and its suppliers provide physical guards, interlocks, and barriers where machinery presents a hazard, and will ensure these protections are properly maintained.

Sanitation and Food. FTG International and its suppliers ensure that workers are provided with ready access to clean toilet facilities, potable water, and sanitary food preparation, storage, and eating facilities.

Housing. Any worker dormitories or other housing provided by FTG International or its suppliers will be well-maintained, clean, and safe. Any such housing will feature appropriate emergency egress and fire protection/suppression, hot water for bathing and showering, adequate heat and ventilation, and reasonable personal space along with reasonable entry and exit privileges.

Enviromental Practices Overview

FTG International and its suppliers will take steps to eliminate any adverse (and potentially adverse) effects on the community, environment, and natural resources and to safeguard health and safety. Specifically:

Pollution Prevention and Resource Reduction. FTG International and its suppliers will work to reduce or eliminate waste of all types, including water and energy, by practices such as modifying production, maintenance and facility processes, materials substitution, conservation, and recycling and reusing materials.

Hazardous Substances. FTG International and its suppliers will identify and manage chemicals (and other materials that would pose a hazard if released to the environment) to ensure their safe handling, movement, storage, use, recycling and reuse, and disposal.

Wastewater & Waste. FTG International and its suppliers will characterize, monitor, control, and treat wastewater and solid waste generated by its operations as required by applicable law before discharge or disposal.

Air Emissions. FTG International and its suppliers will characterize, monitor, control, and treat air generated by its operations as required by applicable law before discharge.

Training and Communication

FTG International and its suppliers maintain training and communication programs to educate its employees regarding the requirements of this Code and Supplier’s own related policies. FTG International maintains a process for communicating clear and accurate information about its practices, policies, and expectations to its workers, next-tier supplier(s), and customers.

Assessments

FTG International and its suppliers periodically evaluate its operations and those of its subsidiaries, affiliates, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with this Code.

FTG International and it suppliers will uphold the highest standards of ethics in their operations, including:

Business Integrity

FTG International and its suppliers will uphold the highest standards of integrity in business interactions. All dealings will be transparently performed and accurately reflected on FTG International’s books and records. FTG International will have a zero-tolerance policy that prohibits all forms of bribery (covering promising, offering, giving, or accepting any bribes), corruption, extortion, fraud, and embezzlement, and will implement monitoring and enforcement procedures to ensure conformance with anti-corruption laws.

Gifts

Do not give gifts, regardless of value, to any FTG International employee working in procurement or supply chain management. Moreover, avoid gifts to any FTG International employee when the circumstances create or appear to create a conflict of interest. For example, do not offer anything of value during a bid process or contract negotiation. Gifts offered or given at such times may appear as attempts to improperly influence FTG International employees. Any gifts, meals, or entertainment must comply with applicable laws, must not exceed $100 in value and must be consistent with local custom and practice. Cash and cash equivalents, such as gift cards, are never acceptable.

Disclosure of Information

FTG International and its suppliers will disclose information regarding business activities and structure, financial situation, and performance in accordance with applicable law and prevailing industry practices. Falsifying records and misrepresenting conditions or practices in the supply chain are prohibited.

Fair Business, Advertising & Competition
FTG International and its suppliers will obey applicable laws and uphold industry and regulatory standards of fair business, advertising, and competition.We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
